• name, contact information, and nomination details for any candidates and nominators you submit.

We collect your personal information in order to:

• facilitate the operation of the elections we are overseeing.

How we protect it

We take all reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we collect is protected against loss, unauthorised access and disclosure or any other misuse, as required by New Zealand law.

Your personal information is only accessible by authorised Election Services staff and the third parties authorised under the terms of the election for which the information has been provided.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
